Roscoe Free Library Clerk
The Roscoe Free Library is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and customer service-oriented person for the position of part-time Library Clerk. The Library Clerk will be assisting library users with their informational needs, shelving and processing library materials and records according to the Roscoe Free Library standards. Carries out assignments independently as experience is gained. No prior knowledge of library procedures and policies is required. The current library staff will provide on-the-job training. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Library Director.
Work Schedule:
Ten to fifteen hours per week including afternoons and Saturdays.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.
- The position requires excellent customer service skills, proficient in computers and common office software programs.

“Catskilled Poetry for Healing” Project Plaque Unveiling!
April 25, 2024 at 10:00 am
Come to the Roscoe Free Library to hear the poetry reading by Vern Francisco! His poem, “A Day OFF” has been selected to be displayed at the library! This poem is part of the Catskilled Poetry Healing Project. This project is focused on addressing the county’s mental health and opioid crisis through therapeutic expression!
